Tarang 350 cruiser review: relaxed highway manners

A 350 cc cruiser with a deep thump, a comfortable seat and a 420 km range, held back by heavy steering at parking speeds.

In this story

The Tarang 350 is a motorcycle for long, straight roads. At 110 km/h the engine turns over lazily, vibration is low and the upright seat keeps your back happy for two hours at a time.

In town, the 195 kg weight and a wide turning circle make U-turns a chore. The brakes are strong and the dual-channel ABS is calibrated well on wet roads.

Fuel economy was 33 km/l in our mixed test, giving a range of about 420 km from the 13-litre tank.
